Meridional Meat was founded in Porto Alegre in 1995, to cater to the demands of the international food market. The growing global demand for animal protein has enabled the company to firmly establish Brazilian products in different markets around the world.

In addition to its headquarters in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul (RS), Meridional Meat also has a Coldstorage unit in Arapongas (Paraná state) that is completely involved in the company’s commercial activities.
